Ignite

Keeping with TWI’s mission of developing women’s confidence and abilities to reach their dreams and highest potential, we offer a program for immigrant professional women in the U.S.
Women gather at Ignite workshops to learn the “ins and outs” of communication in the U.S. and to connect with others of similar experience.

 

Ignite is for women from any country, new to the U.S., eager to “learn the ropes” culturally, to network, and start or enhance their careers.

The title of the workshop series is “Finding Your Way in the U.S. While Keeping Your Authentic Self.”

The goals are to develop greater understanding of U.S. culture; gain deeper appreciation of women’s own life experiences, values, and strengths; and enhance skills in communicating and connecting with others.

As with all TWI programs, we encourage participants to seek and find new and meaningful avenues of expression in their social and professional lives and to engage in charitable causes that are meaningful to them.
